BUTTERCUP REALLY IS THE STRONGEST FIGHTER ^__________________^
If you thought Buttercup was tough before, just see what happens when she gets ahold of a .357.
Here's a full 800x600 picture of the Creexul map, in its first form. The room at the end of the hallway was the one you start in, and it basically has a desk, and a big reel-to-reel computer that you can bust apart for a suit batter, and another hallway leading to a bigger room with some human grunts and alien grunts who fight it out and then you move in and clean up. It's extremely basic, and that was all I had to the map other than the room I'm facing away from in this picture, which is extremely small and just has five houndeyes and a big busted up crate with a rocket launcher in it. That's really all there is to the map. I tried adding some pop machines to the main room, but I took them out when I couldn't figure out how to make them actually work like in the single-player game (it turns out that I'd have to go find one already made and just put it into the map--but I gave up on Creexul: the map later anyway). One thing I did have was once you got to the end of the grunt battle room, there was one last door that lead outside. I just closed what I had built into a giant hollowed out cube, so you could actually view all the rooms from the outside. I planned on having suspension cables and such to make it look like the rooms you start in were actually held from the ceiling, and on the "outside" area there was a small building that you open up using one of those optical reader switches, and in that building would be a transporter that took you somewhere else. I never got around to that stuff, except for making a simple version of the building with the optical scanner that kept screwing up. And that's all the Creexul map was--until I started over with a second version and then an even smaller third version. And then I just tossed it all. Okay, by the time you finish reading this, the fucking huge picture should be finished loading.
